The total death toll in Syria on Thursday 15/1/2014 reached 34 deaths including two children, two women, two killed under torture and another two due to the cold weather.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs four were killed; a civilian shot by a government sniper in Arbeen, one in clashes with government forces and another in shelling on Yarmouk camp. A child was also killed as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta for more than two years.
Deir Azzour witnessed the killings of 15 civilians executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of fighting the organisation, taking pictures of their headquarters and dealing with the regime. The executions took place in various areas in the province.
In Aleppo four were killed; three in clashes with government forces and a child due to the severe cold weather.
Furthermore three were killed in Homs; a civilians due to the severe cold weather where he was surrounded by snow in one of the camps of central Bekaa and another young man with a mental illness was kidnapped while he was grazing sheep at the hands of pro-government forces, with the help of one of the barriers. The killings of two women were documented in Idlib, including a pregnant woman in missile bombing on one of the villages in rural Idlib. Additionally one died in Hama from wounds sustained from a shrapnel.
The killing of another civilian from Al-Quneitra was documented due to shelling on rural Daraa, as well as an Imam of a mosque in Al-Hassaka at the hands of ISIS on 8/1/2015.
