The total death toll in Syria on 8/01/2015 reached 11 deaths including three children.
In Aleppo four civilians were killed; a child due to shelling on the town of Hayan in the suburbs, a three month old baby girl died due to the severe cold weather, one was shot by a regime sniper and another died in clashes with government forces.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs three were killed; a child perished from wounds sustained several days ago in shelling on Douma (rural Damascus) and a civilian died due to the fall of two shells on the outskirts of the town of Zakiya (western rural Damascus).
Furthermore two were executed in Ar-Raqqah at the hands of ISIS under charges of drug trafficking and one was shot in Deir Azzour when a bus carrying university students was targeted near the area of al-Baghiliya.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Daraa from wounds sustained as a result of a regime sniper shot about a month ago. Additionally the medical point in Deir Al-Addas was also hit by a guided missile which led to its destruction.
