The total death toll in Syria on Monday 5/1/2015 reached 20 deaths including two children, two women and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs eight were killed; one found shot dead in one of the parks of the region, two were killed in shelling, one in clashes with government forces and four in clashes between factions of the opposition.
In Deir Azzour four were killed; three in shelling among them a woman and a child and one in clashes with government forces on Deir Azzour airport front.
Homs witnessed the killings of three civilians shot by government snipers among them was a child shepherd.
Furthermore two were killed in Aleppo; one died from his wounds in a bomb explosion in the city of Mari’ yesterday and one in clashes with government forces.
An additional two were killed in Al-Latakia; one in clashes with government forces which took place on Jabal al-Akraad and one under torture in government prisons.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Daraa as a result of wounds sustained in explosive barrel bombings.
