The total death toll in Syria on Saturday 27/12/2014 reached 44 deaths including nine children, five women and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 17 were killed; 15 in explosive barrel warplane bombings on Douma, Zamlaka and Arbeen, one died in clashes and another under torture in government prisons.
Daraa witnessed the killings of 15 civilians; one shot by a regime sniper and 14 died in warplane bombing on Ibta’ and Da’il in the suburbs, among them were two children and a woman.
In Aleppo five were killed; two were executed at the hands of ISIS in the city of al-Baab in the suburbs, under charges of embezzlement and one in the fall of a shell on Nile Street in the city.
Furthermore two were killed in Idlib; one in a mine explosion and a woman in shelling on the city of Khan Sheikhoun (rural Idlib).
An additional two were killed in Homs; one in clashes with government forces and a woman in shelling. A civilian was also killed in Hama in clashes with government forces.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Al-Hassaka due to aerial bombardment and one shot in Deir Azzour at the hands of ISIS.
