The total death toll in Syria on Tuesday 23/12/2014 reached 69 deaths including 19 children, seven women and two under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 14 were killed; seven in shelling, three in clashes with government forces and one was shot by unknown assailants in Yarmouk camp.
Ar-Raqqah witnessed the killings of 25 civilians due to warplane bombing on several neighbourhoods in the city; among the victims were ten children and six women.
In Aleppo nine civilians were killed; six in explosive barrel bombing on the city of al-Baab (rural Aleppo), two in clashes with government forces and one was executed at the hands of ISIS.
Furthermore eight were killed in Idlib; seven in an explosive barrel raid on Safuhun secondary school in the town of Kafr Aweed (rural Idlib).
An additional eight civilians perished in Hama; five in explosive barrel bombing among them were three children, one died as a result of shrapnel from an artillery shell fired at him from regime barriers positioned around the village, one died in an ambush by government forces and the other was killed under torture in a government prisons.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Daraa; one in shelling, one in clashes and one under torture in government prisons.
The killings of an additional three were also documented in Deir Azzour as a result of air raids by the international alliance on one of the oil wells (al-Milh Well) in Badia eastern suburbs of Deir Azzour.
