Several raids by the Syrian military air force on the city of Ar-Raqqah led to the deaths of more than 50 people, and injuring tens of others; all civilians, according to preliminary reports.
These raids have targeted the industrial zone in al-Sawajeen neighbourhood, al-Asfar warehouse (north of the city), mosque al-Hani, al-Mashlab, Museum Square and Al-Bareed (near Karaaj al-Bulman).
Most of the causalities and wounded were taken to the National Hospital in the city and majority of the victims are from the industrial city and Museum square.
Ar-Raqqah is under the control of ISIS and the Syrian Air Force does not target areas controlled by the organisation. However every time the Syrian Air Force does target Ar-Raqqah; residential areas and civilian gatherings are targeted.
