The Syrian Human Rights committee documented the killing of 1567 deaths in the month of October 2014 in various Syrian provinces. Where there were many causes of deaths ranging from bombing of explosive barrels, surface to surface missiles and clashes between opposition and government forces. In addition to lack of food and medical supplies due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta and car bombs and explosive devices.
The number of deaths of children documented by the committee during this month reached 200 children. As well as 114 women and 133 killed under torture in government prisons and government security centres.
Thirty- Six civilians were also killed at the hands of ISIS due to clashes between the organisation and the opposition and field executions carried out against civilians under multiple charges.
In Damascus and its suburbs the total number of victims reached 468, the highest among other provinces, followed by Daraa with 271 deaths and then Idlib with 237 deaths.
The overall death toll in Aleppo was 228, in Homs 181, Hama 107 and Deir Azzour 48 deaths.
The killings of seven civilians were documented in Al-Latakia, six in Ar-Raqqah, another six in Al-Quneitra and one in Al-Hassaka.
