The total death toll in Syria on Sunday 09/11/2014 reached 97 deaths including 16 children, three women, six killed under torture and ten at the hands of the alliance.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs six civilians were killed; two in shelling, two in clashes and two under torture in government prisons.
A staggering 50 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 30 of them were killed in shelling on the city of al-Baab in the suburbs a day ago and the number of deaths was then later documented, where among the deaths were five children and a woman. Eight others died as a result of bombing of explosive barrels, five in mortar shelling on Bani Zaid neighbourhood and another five in clashes, one with the PKK. In addition a civilian was killed as a result of bombing on the city of Kobani by ISIS and two were killed under torture in government prisons in the Air Force Intelligence branch.
Eighteen civilians were killed in Daraa; seven in shelling, ten in a mine explosion, remnants of the government forces in the suburbs of the city of Nawa and one under torture in government prisons.
In Deir Azzour ten oil workers and traders were killed as a result of aviation bombing of the alliance forces of an oil site in the suburbs of eastern Deir Azzour Friday evening.
Furthermore nine were killed in Homs; six in shelling among them a child, two were shot by government snipers and one was killed under torture.
The killings of two were documented in Idlib and two in Hama due to bombing of warplanes by government forces.
