The total death toll in Syria on Tuesday 04/11/2014 reached 53 deaths including seven children, six women, two killed under torture and four in field executions.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs ten were killed; among them were two children due to shelling, three in clashes with government forces and two were executed on the field in Hawsh al-Fara (Rural Damascus). In addition a civilian was shot by a regime sniper, one was killed under torture in government prisons and another died from poisonous gases fired by government forces on Jobar front.
In Daraa 24 were killed; 13 in shelling on the towns of Basr al-Hareer al-Tayba and al-Sheikh Miskeen, three in clashes with government forces and two were executed in field executions. Additionally a civilian was shot by a sniper, one in a mine explosion, another by random gunfire and one was killed under torture in government prisons.
Eight civilians were killed in Homs due to indiscriminate shelling by warplanes on northern rural Homs and the city of ar-Rastan.
Furthermore six were killed in Deir Azzour due to shelling on the city of al-Mayadeen and Thayban, among them a child.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Hama; one in clashes with government forces and a woman due to shelling. An additional two civilians were also killed in Idlib due to shelling, among them a woman and a civilian from Aleppo died in clashes in rural Damascus.
