The total death toll in Syria on Thursday 31/10/2014 reached 56 deaths including nine children, 18 killed under torture and three at the hands of ISIS.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 15 civilians were killed; five due to shelling on the towns of al-Ghouta, four in clashes with government forces, two during governments forces attempt to storm the town of Hawsh Nasri and three were shot by the regime among them a child in Jobar neighbourhood.
In Homs 23 were killed; five due to bombing of explosive barrels on the province and the surrounding towns, one in clashes with government forces and the killings of 17 civilians were documented today in the town of al-Qaryatain however they were killed under torture previously.
Six were killed in Hama; a child due to shelling and five in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore four were killed in Idlib due to bombing of explosive barrels among them three children. In addition four were killed in Deir Azzour; one was killed by airstrikes and three were executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of apostasy.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Aleppo; two in clashes and one shot in the head at the hands of unknown assailants. A civilian was also killed in Ar-Raqqah due to airstrikes by warplanes.
