The total death toll in Syria on Friday 24/10/2014 reached 33 deaths including nine children, two women, four killed under torture and one due to the siege.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 14 civilians were killed; four in clashes with government forces, five due to bombing, two killed under torture and child in a bomb explosion in one of the parks. An additional child perished due to lack of food as a result of the siege and a civilian died due to a mortar shell from an unknown source in the capital.
Eight were killed in Aleppo; four in shelling, two in clashes with government forces, a civilian was shot by a regime sniper and another was killed under torture in Sednaya prison (Rural Damascus).
In Daraa five were killed due to bombing of explosive barrels on the towns of the province and four were killed in Idlib due to warplane bombing.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Homs one due to shelling and the other killed under torture in security centres. A civilian was also killed in clashes with government forces in Deir Azzour.
