At least four raids were carried out by the Syrian Air Force on the town of Jisreen in Eastern Ghouta on Thursday killing 23 civilians and injuring more than 30 others.
Two raids targeted the main square in the town centre, which had caused most of the casualties, as the raids caused an outbreak of fires in a number of apartments.
Subsequently medical sources in the town reported that a number of the wounded had their limbs amputated.
