The total death toll in Syria on Tuesday 21/10/2014 reached 74 deaths including 20 children, seven women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 19 civilians were killed; seven as a result of warplane bombing, eight in clashes with government forces at various Eastern Ghouta fronts, one died as a result of poisonous gases fired by government forces at one of the fronts, one was shot by a regime sniper, another was killed under torture at security centres and an additional civilian was shot by a stray bullet during clashes.
In Daraa 36 civilians were killed; 28 in warplane bombing on the cities of Nasseeb, al-Yaduda and Um al-Miyathin among them were 17 children and four women.
Seven were killed in clashes with government forces at rural Al-Quneitra front and al-Riqqiya front of city of Nawa and one was killed under torture after enduring three years of arrest.
An additional seven civilians were also killed in Idlib; four in shelling on the towns of the province among them a woman and a child and three in clashes with government forces.
Five were killed in Homs; three due to clashes, one was shot by regime snipers and one was killed in clashes.
Five civilians were also killed in Hama as a result of bombing of explosive barrels among them a woman and a child.
The killings of two were documented in Deir Azzour in clashes with government forces.
