Sixty civilians were killed on Sunday 5/10/2014 including six children, three women and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 12 civilians were killed; eight died in clashes with government forces in eastern Ghouta, one died in shelling, two were shot by regime snipers and one was killed by a mortar shell from an unknown source.
A staggering twenty civilians were killed in Idlib; nine died in bombings on the cities of Saraqib and al-Dana with explosive barrels, one died in clashes on Jabal al-Akrad and seven were found in a well in Ard al-Harra including a child.In addition three were found in a house near Bustan Ghanum and the military foundation. The victims were two women and a man and their bodies had signs of torture.
Furthermore ten civilians were killed in Daraa due to clashes with government forces on al-Harra front.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Hama; one was killed in clashes and a child was killed as a result of shelling. A civilian was also killed in Homs; who was an activist killed under torture in branch 215. In addition one was killed in Al-Hassaka in clashes at Handarat front in rural Aleppo.
