Thirty four civilians were killed in Syria on 2/10/2014 including three children a woman and four killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 20 civilians were killed; five as a result of shelling on Douma, another five were killed in clashes with government forces, four were shot by regime snipers, a civilian died due to lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on Eastern Ghouta, one was killed by a mortar shell from unknown origin in the capital and two were killed under torture in the Military Security Branch 215 secret raid.
In Aleppo five civilians were killed due to shelling on al-Haydaria neighbourhood in the city and Andan in the suburbs; among them were two paramedics.
An additional five civilians were killed in Daraa; three died in clashes with government forces, one died in shelling on the city of Douma and one was killed under torture.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Idlib; two in shelling one of them a child, one in clashes and one from Deir Azzour was killed in Aleppo due to shelling while carrying out casualty duties.
