
The data compiled by SHRC shows that over 99% of September’s victims were killed by the Syrian regime. Less than 2% of the victims were killed by the attacks of the International alliance, and less than 1% were killed by ISIS.
During the month of September 2014, the Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of 2103 Syrians that died due to shelling, bombing from the Syrian regime warplanes, or clashes between the opposition and regime forces, in addition to the victims of gas attacks, the victims of the siege imposed on the Eastern Ghouta, public executions carried out by Kurdish groups, and the international alliance attacks which killed 33 civilians, as well as killings by ISIS, of which 19 were victims.
The number of children killed this month, and documented by SHRC were 281. SHRC also documented the killing of 188 women and 117 people killed under torture in regime security centres and prisons.

The victims of the provinces of Damascus and Aleppo and their suburbs have increased 45% since last September.
Damascus and its suburbs witnessed the highest number of deaths, with a total of 646 killed. This was followed by Aleppo in which 325 were killed, and then Idlib, in which 256 were killed. The total number killed in Hama was 213, and in Homs 180. In Daraa, the total number was 146, whilst in Deir Azzour it reached 113, and in Ar-Raqqah 84 were killed. In Al-Hasaka 50 were killed, whilst 24 were documented to have been killed in Latakia, and 19 in Al-Quneitra.
On average, 70 civilians were killed each day in Syria during September 2014.
