Thirty-three civilians were killed on Saturday 27/09/2014 including three children, three women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 22 civilians were killed; ten in clashes with government forces on several fronts in Eastern al-Ghouta, six were killed in shelling on Ain Tarma and Douma among them were two children, three were shot by regime snipers, two were killed under torture in government prisons including a woman and one was killed by a mortar shell from an unknown origin.
Six civilians were killed in Aleppo; three in shelling on al-Haydaria and Qadi Askar in the city, two were killed in a landmine explosion planted by ISIS on the outskirts on the city of Mari’ in the suburbs and one was killed by a mortar shell.
Additionally two civilians were killed in Idlib; one as a result of shelling and one in clashes with government forces.
A woman was documented to have been killed in Deir Azzour as a result of shelling on the river crossing and one in Ar-Raqqah was executed at the hands of ISIS for selling cigarettes after being tortured. A civilian was also documented to have been killed in Al-Latakia under torture in regime prisons after his arrest which lasted two years.
