Fifty-six civilians were killed in Syria on Wednesday 23/9/2014, among them six children, six women, three killed under torture, and seven killed by the international alliance.
In Damascus and its suburbs, 40 were killed, including 19 that perished in shelling on Douma and al-Maqilibia, as well as 10 that were killed in clashes with regime forces, among them a journalist. Seven were killed when Dara al-Amaliyah was targeted with gases by regime forces, in addition to a man killed by a regime sniper. A civilian died of hunger due to the ongoing siege in the Eastern Ghouta, and two were killed by missiles of unknown source in the capital.
Seven were killed in Al-Hassaka, among them a child and three women, due to the airstrikes of the international alliance on the area of al-Hawl in the province.
In Daraa, three were killed, one of them under torture in Sednaya, and two were killed in Aleppo: one due to shelling and the other in clashes.
Two were documented to have been killed under torture in Hama, whilst the death of two were documented in Idlib, one under torture and the other in a regime prison.
