Sixty-one civilians were killed in Syria on Saturday 20/9/2014, among them four children, two women, a civilian killed under torture, and five at the hands of ISIS.
In Damascus and its suburbs, 25 were killed, among them a civilian that died in clashes with regime forces in the Eastern Ghouta, as well as five that were killed due to bombing from warplanes, among them a baby that died in its mother’s womb due to the extreme fear she felt. Another civilian perished due to the bullet of a regime sniper.
Nine were killed in Aleppo, among them three that died due to shelling, five that died in clashes with ISIS and a civilian that was executed at the hands of an unknown group.
In Idlib, eight were killed: five due to bombing, among them a child, and three in clashes with regime forces.
Eight perished in Deir Azzour, among them a woman that was killed when the water crossing point at the village of Hatla was bombed. People had gathered there waiting for boats to cross to the other side. They had chosen to cross at night as the area is usually shelled all day.
In Daraa, seven were killed, among them five killed during shelling, a civilian killed in clashes, and another killed under torture in regime prisons.
In Homs three were killed, and in Hama a civilian was recorded to have been killed.
