Over 45 people were killed in air strikes by Syrian regime warplanes on the city of Douma, whilst more than 70 were left injured.
MiG warplanes launched at least five air strikes on the city, targeting an old district and leading to the collapse of houses while its inhabitants were inside.
The Medical Office in the city said that 29 surgical operations werecarried out within the hours following the air strikes for 26 injured people, including a case of amputation. The office also announced that all field hospitals in the city no longer had units of serum.
A whole family was wiped out in Hizza after a residential area was targeted with two surface missiles, landing on the route between Kafrbatna and the Eastern Ghouta, and which lead to the collapse of two whole buildings whilst the occupants were inside. The first round of statistics reveal that 5 were killed and more than 20 were injured, among them children and women.
