The death toll in Syria on Saturday 30/08/2014 reached 77 deaths including 28 children, 11 women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 13 civilians were killed; 11 were killed as a result of shelling including four children, a woman and two shot by regime snipers.
In Aleppo 16 civilians were killed; 15 were killed as a result of shelling on al-Ard al-Hamra and al-Neirab in the city and Deir Hafir in the suburbs, among those killed were 11 children, a woman and a man executed while attempting to defect in rural Damascus.
In Idlib the total number of deaths reached 11 deaths; all were killed in shelling on Khan Sheikhun among them were six children and three women.
Thirteen civilians were killed in Homs; 11 died in shelling on the city of ar-Rastan with explosive barrels among them were four children and four women. In addition, a civilian was killed in a landmine explosion and another in clashes with government forces.
Seven civilians were killed in Daraa; five died as a result of shelling including a child and a woman and two were killed in clashes with government forces.
The killing of nine civilians in Hama was documented; six as a result of shelling including two children, and three were killed under torture in government prisons.
The killing of eight in Deir Azzour was also documented; they were all killed in shelling on the town of al-Kharita, Muhsin and al-Hawiqa neighbourhood.
