The dropping of barrels on Bab al-Neirab led to the explosion of a bus and the death of all its passengers
Aleppo witnessed another bloody day today, in which helicopters released 23 barrels on the city and its suburbs in addition to conducting warplane airstrikes. This was alongside ISIS attacks on the eastern and northern countryside of the city.
A helicopter released an explosive barrel on the street of the Ibrahim al-Khaleel Mosque in the al-Sha’aar district, killing five among them three from the Qassab family.
Three barrels were also dropped on Bab al-Neirab, one of which destroyed a number of cars and killed three people, the bodies of two of which were totally blackened as a result.
In al-Qattana, the fall of a barrel on a Power Adaptor which served the al-Sakhoor plant and Hanano led to a black-out across the majority of the districts of Aleppo under opposition control.
At least three were killed and more than ten injured when a barrel was released on Qadi Askar. The barrel also partially destroyed the ancient district mosque and a number of houses.
Two explosive barrels- which did not explode- were dropped on al-Ma’aadi, killing a female child and a young man, injuring many, and destroying three houses.
A woman was also killed, and many injured, when a barrel fell on al-Maysar district.
