The death toll in Syria on Thursday 7/08/2014 reached 58 deaths including four children, four women and 15 killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 21 civilians were killed; seven were killed in shelling on the towns of the suburbs, five were shot by regime forces in al-Wifdan camp, two were killed in clashes with government forces, one died from his burns as a result of an explosion of a methane tank a few weeks ago and five were killed under torture in the basements of the security prisons.
In Aleppo nine civilians were killed; seven died as a result of shelling on the town of Anjara (Rural Aleppo) among them three women and a child, two were shot dead; one was shot by a regime sniper and the other was shot by the Turkish forces while crossing the border.
In Homs the total death toll reached six deaths; five were killed as a result of shelling on the neighbourhoods of Homs and on the Arsal camp at the Lebanese border.
The total death toll in Hama reached five deaths; two were killed in an ambush near al-Shiha village, one was killed in clashes in Mork and two were killed under torture among them a child.
Four civilians were killed in Daraa; two were killed in clashes with government forces and two were killed under torture.
The deaths of six civilians have been documented in Idlib; four died under torture in government security prisons and two in Al-Hassaka as a result of torture by government forces in the basements of the government security prisons.
Furthermore in Deir Azzour four members of the Red Crescent were killed as a result of the targeting of their relief convoy by ISIS.
