The death toll in Syria on Sunday 20/07/2014 reached 79 deaths including seven children, eight women and one killed under torture.
Fifty two civilians were killed by various missiles including explosive barrels and rockets; among them 17 from Hama, 16 from Aleppo, 12 from Damascus, four from Idlib, two from Daraa and one from Homs.
Twenty five civilians were killed in clashes between opposition forces and government forces including 13 from Daraa, six from Hama, four from Idlib, one from Al-Latakia and one from Homs.
The death of a civilian from rural Tal Barak Al-Hassaka was recorded during the PKK attack on the military wing of the Democratic Union Party. Additionally a civilian was killed under torture in government prisons in Homs.
