The death toll in Syria on Sunday 6/7/2014 reached 37 deaths including three women, six children and five killed under torture.
Aleppo and its suburbs witnessed extensive bombing of explosive barrels; 14 barrels were dropped, eight of which targeted the suburbss whilst three Grad rockets targeted the city’s neighbourhoods. Furthermore a rocket was thrown in the city of Tal Rafa’at in rural Aleppo.
Seventeen deaths were documented in the city of Aleppo; 11 were killed as a result of bombing of explosive barrels and Grad rockets on al-Halk, al-Mashad and al-Ansari neighbourhoods, including three women and two children.
Additionally, a civilian was killed as a result of clashes with government forces as well as a child that was killed in the town of Tal Rafa’at due to shelling by government forces on the city.
Among those killed in the other Syrian cities, nine were killed due to the shelling; one in Homs, one in Idlib, one in Deir Azzour, two in Hama, two in the capital Damascus including a child and also two in Daraa died in one of the hospitals in Jordan due to wounds sustained earlier.
Two from the city of Hama on the road to the city of al-Salima were shot dead by government forces as well as another killed at the hands of the ISIL in the city of Ar-Raqqah.
Six were killed in government prisons; one from the city of Daraa, five from the city of Damascus and its suburbs and their names haven’t been reached.
