The death toll on Tuesday 6/5/2014 reached 103 deaths including four women and 13 children.
Twenty one civilians were killed in the city of Damascus and its suburbs due to shelling on Deir Makir (Rural Damascus).
In the city of Hama 13 civilians were killed including ten civilians killed in shelling on Tibat al-Imam (Rural Hama).
Among those killed were a husband and wife from Daraa killed as a result of the explosion of their car due to a bomb planted at al-Tarabi road (connecting the towns of Jamreen and Kharba). Additionally, a man from Douma (Rural Damascus) died from his wounds sustained on 4/5/2014 when he was shot by unknown assailants in Galaa Street in the city of Douma where he was with the victim Adnan Khabiya; who was shot by the same bullet. Furthermore two children from rural Damascus died as a result of malnutrition and food shortages due to the siege imposed by regime forces on Eastern Ghouta. Moreover a man from Daraa died as a result of a bomb explosion while passing one of the roads surrounding the town in a tanker carrying him. Also a defected soldier was killed in Ma’rrat al-No’maan, as well as a man from Jordan who died of his wounds sustained in clashes in Tal al-Jabiya (Daraa).
Six civilians died under torture; the first a child from Nahr Aisha (Damascus) executed by regime forces and his body was found on 5/5/2014 near Malik Bin Anas mosque on the edge of Nahr Aisha district with signs of torture. Also a man from al-Quwriya (Deir Azzour) was killed under torture in regime prisons (Damascus), two men from Homs, a man from Idlib also killed in regime prisons, a presenter and a judge in the military security from Daraa were killed under torture in Sednaya military prison and the seventh also from Daraa was killed in regime prisons on 3/5/2014.
As a result of bombing of explosive barrels four children in Deir Makir (Rural Damascus), two children from Hama and a man and a child from Aleppo were killed.
