The death toll on Thursday 8/5/2014 reached 85 deaths, including five women and five children.
Twenty four civilians were killed in the city of Aleppo including four in Andan killed as a result of shelling and six others killed in shelling on al-Jamiliyah.
Among those killed was a man from Idlib who died when the car carrying him on the road to Handarat camp (Aleppo) was hit by a missile, as well as a child from Douma (Rural Damascus) who died on 06/05/2014. She was born deformed due to the exposure of the area to chemical and toxic gases numerous times. Furthermore, a man in his twenties of Palestinian nationality from Daraa camp died in Jordan of wounds he sustained during the bombardment on the camp of Daraa and another man in his twenties from Nasb (Daraa) was killed by a regime sniper on the outskirts of Tareeq al-Sad neighbourhood. In addition a man from Deir Azzour died as a result of the bombing of his car near al-Azba field as a result of the clashes in the region, and a defected captain from Hama died in clashes in Aleppo.
As a result of the bombing of explosive barrels a civilian from Hama was killed and another from Aleppo.
Fourteen were killed under torture; three from Hama, four from Homs, three from Idlib, three from rural Damascus, three from Damascus and a man from Daraa.

Damascus and its suburbs: 15 including a woman, a child and six killed under torture.
Daraa: 7 including 2 children, and a man killed under torture.
Idlib: 7 including 3 killed under torture.
Hama: 6 including 3 killed under torture.
Al-Quneitra: 2
Homs: 1 killed under torture.
Total: 85 deaths.
