The death toll on Friday 9/5/2014 reached 69 deaths including four women and six children.
Twenty five civilians were killed in the city of Damascus and its suburbs including 15 killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour 15 civilians were killed including a displaced family that was executed by gun bullets in one of the schools in the town of Jadid Bakara at the hands of the organization of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), among them an elderly man.
In Idlib seven were killed including four women killed in shelling of the village of Bazeet (Rural Jisr al-Shaghour).
Among those killed, two children from Douma (Rural Damascus) died as a result of lack of medical supplies due to the siege imposed by regime forces on Eastern Ghouta. Additionally a child from al-Rabwa (Damascus) died from his wounds sustained on 6/5/2014 as a result of the fall of a shell from an anonymous source on an orphanage belonging to the Ambulance Association. Furthermore, a member of the Shariah judiciary in Deir Azzour was killed by the fall of a shell on al-Huriya square. A man from Aleppo died as a result of bombing of explosive barrels near Baab al-Hawa and a defected lieutenant from Hama was killed in clashes. An architect from al-Houla (Homs) was also killed in clashes with regime forces and a man from Jordan was killed in clashes in rural Al-Quneitra.
Sixteen civilians were killed under torture, six of them from Rukn al-Deen including a woman and two from Yarmouk camp (Damascus), four from rural Damascus and the sixteenth from Tal Mamu (Aleppo).
Three were shot by regime snipers; two from Douma and the third from Arbeen (Rural Damascus) killed in al-Wifdan camp (Rural Damascus).
