The death toll on Monday 21/4/2014 reached 117 deaths, including 11 women and 21 children.
Seventy civilians were killed in the city of Aleppo and its suburbs, including fifty killed in bombing of explosive barrels on al-Firdaus district and seven others killed in Bustan al-Basha district.
Among those killed, a man from Saraqib (Idlib) died of wounds sustained after an assassination attempt in the city a few days ago and a child from Talmans (Idlib) died by poisonous gases which were used to bomb the town. Additionally a man from Talmiya (Hama) was found yesterday in Majra al-Tuf on Salmiya Saburra al-Qadeem road. Furthermore two men from al-Mazira’a (Hama) were executed by the regime’s militia while they were tending cattle in the region and a child from al-Latamina (Hama) died from his wounds as a result of the explosion of a cluster bomb. Moreover a man from al-Khiyara (Rural Damascus) was found dead in the eastern district of Kaswa, and a media activist from Aleppo died as a result of bombardment by cannon shell 57 on the road to al-Intharaat. Also three from Jordan were killed in clashes in rural Al-Quneitra.
Two were killed under torture; the first a man in his twenties from Ghabaghib (Daraa) and the second from al-Damir (Rural Damascus) after he was arrested for seven months.
As a result of bombing of explosive barrels 33 civilians were killed (among them a defected soldier), 16 children, nine women from Aleppo and a man from Eastern al-Ghariya (Daraa).
