The death toll on Tuesday 1st of April reached 98 deaths, including 13 women and 20 children.
In the city of Aleppo and its suburbs 43 people were killed, including 16 civilians killed in bombing on Ma’rat al-Artiq (Aleppo) last night, as well as eight killed in bombing on al-Mukakbu and al-Neel Street (Aleppo) and six in bombing on Kafr Hamra (Rural Aleppo).
In Damascus and its suburbs 26 people were killed, among them six children killed in bombing on Jab’din village (Rural Damascus) at the moment of the students departure and five killed under torture in regime prisons in the town of Aqraba (Rural Damascus).
In Daraa 11 people were killed including three in Tasil (Daraa) that died as a result of the shelling.
Among those killed, six children from Jab’adin (Rural Damascus) died as a result of the bombing of regime forces in the village at the time of the students departure from school and a man in his thirties, a women in her thirties and their four children (including an infant) from Abu Darda al-Jabal (Hama) were slaughtered with knives at the hands of the regime forces. In addition a father and his son from al-Insha’at (Homs) were executed at the hands of the regime forces and a man from Harira (Rural Damascus) was executed within the Sednaya military prison (Rural Damascus). Furthermore a man in his thirties from Hayyan (Rural Aleppo) was found dead, his body lying within one of the parks of the town with signs of gun shots.
Thirteen were killed under torture: the first from al-Ashara (Deir Azzour), the second from Mahja (Daraa), two from Daa’il (Daraa) killed in military security in Damascus, the fifth from al-Nabk (Rural Damascus), two from Jirud (Rural Damascus), a Palestinian from Rukn al-Din (Damascus) and five from Aqraba (Rural Damascus).
Four were shot by regime snipers: the first from Tareeq al-Sad (Daraa), the second was a Palestinian man in his seventies (and a resident of Daraa camp) who was shot in Daraa al-Mahata, the third from Daraa al-Balad was shot in al-Manshiya district (Daraa al-Balad) and the fourth a man in his fourties from Aleppo was shot by a Karraj al-Hajz sniper.
As a result of malnutrition, dehydration and the siege, a man in his sixties from Yarmouk camp died as well as a child from Douma (Rural Damascus), a Palestinian woman from Sukan Sabina (Damascus) and a man from Deir al-Asafir (Rural Damascus). As a result of bombing of explosive barrels three were killed (including one from Daraa) and three women and a child from Aleppo.
