The death toll on Monday 31/03/2014 reached 104 deaths, including two women and seven children.
The city of Idlib witnessed the killing of 26 people, including 16 civilians killed by shelling on Harim (Rural Idlib).
In Damascus 19 people were killed, including seven killed by shelling on Jobar district (Damascus).
In Aleppo 17 people were killed, including five killed by shelling on Daarat Azza (Rural Aleppo).
Among the dead a man from al-Makhram al-Tahtani (Homs) was killed by unknown assailants ambushing his car and a man from Ar-Rastan (Homs) died in Central Homs prison after prison authorities refused to take him out to receive treatment. He had languished in regime prisons for 18 years. In addition a man from Daraa died in al-Jiza hospital and he is one of the prisoners who were freed from central Gharaz prison. Also, a mother and her child from al-Shahba neighbourhood (Aleppo) were slaughtered by the shabiha after they raided and stole their house. Furthermore a man in his thirties from al-Qadam (Damascus) was executed at the hands of regime forces and a Palestinian from Yarmouk camp died as a result of his wounds sustained during the distribution of food aid in al-Rija square. Moreover a man from Haritan (Rural Aleppo) died as a result of bombing of explosive barrels on the town.
Fiver were shot by regime snipers: the first from Aleppo shot by a regime sniper centred in the neighborhood of al-Itha’a while waiting for his work in front of Karaj al-Hajz crossing warehouses, the second a Palestinian from Daraa camp, the third from Arbin (Rural Damascus), the fourth from Douma (Rural Damascus) killed in al-Wifdan camp and the fifth from Harista (Rural Damascus).
Five were killed under torture; two from Adraa (Rural Damascus) in the prison of the region in Damascus, two from Deir Azzour and the fifth from al-Za’farana (Homs).
