The death toll on Saturday 29/03/2014 reached 50 deaths, including seven women and ten children.
The largest numbers of deaths were in the city of Damascus and its suburbs where 20 people, including five civilians in al-Zabdani (Rural Damascus) died after being targeted by a tank shell.
In Daraa 13 people died, including nine in the bombing on Tafs (Rural Daraa).
Among those killed, a child from Nawa (Daraa) died as a result of bombing of explosive barrels on the city and two men from Ajwa (Hama) were killed in an ambush by Shabiha thugs. Additionally a child from Aleppo was shot by a regime sniper at Karaj al-Hajar crossing on 27/03/2014, as well as a Palestinian from Wadi Barda (Rural Damascus) was killed due to the targeting of his car by a heavy machine gun from the 104 Brigade. Furthermore a man from al-Jolan was killed under torture in regime prisons.
Activists also confirmed the killing of defected lieutenant from al-Qaryatain (Homs) in clashes in al-Qalamoun (Rural Damascus) and a defected soldier from al-Houla (Homs) died in clashes in Northern Rural Hama.
