The death toll on Sunday 2/3/2014 reached 60 deaths, including seven women and a child.
Among the dead, two men and three women from Marana (Rural Damascus) died after being hit by a shell in the car they were travelling in. A child from Douma (Rural Damascus) died as a result of lack of food and medical supplies due to the siege imposed by regime forces on eastern Ghouta. Additionally a Palestinian resident of Yarmouk camp died as a result of bombing of the camp and a man in his fifties from Aleppo died from a heart attack due to the regime not allowing civilians to leave the region of Karaaj al-Hajz crossing. A man from al-Basira (Deir Azzour) died from starvation in central Aleppo prison and a man from al-Mazza (Damascus) was executed at the door of Tadmur prison in Homs. A further two men from Homs died under torture and a man from Naseeb (Daraa) died as a result of his injuries in clashes between the free Syrian army and a wanted man in the town.
Two were shot by regime snipers; the first a man in his thirties from al-Maghair (Aleppo) in Jab al-Quba neighbourhood and the second, a man in his forties from Aleppo shot near Karaaj al-Hajz crossing.

Homs: 11 including a woman and a defected soldier.

Hama: 1 woman.
