The death toll on Thursday reached 123 deaths, including eight women and ten children.
Among those killed was a man, a woman and three children from Jasim (Daraa) who were extracted from the rubble left behind by the bombing yesterday, an additional six men from Aleppo were killed by a car bomb explosion near Baab al-Salamah crossing near one of the IDP camps, and the director of Ma’had Al-Shar’i from al-Intharaat (Aleppo) was killed by the shelling on al-Haydaria neighbourhood.
Three were killed by regime snipers; the first a man in his twenties from Aleppo near Karaaj al-Hajaz crossing, the second from al-Qabun (Damascus) died of wounds sustained a month ago by a regime sniper and the third from Aleppo was also killed near Karaaj al-Hajaz crossing.
16 people were killed under torture: the first from Babila (Rural Damascus), the second from Hawareen (Homs), the third from Idlib, the fourth from Kawbaani (Aleppo) killed under torture in regime prisons after a two-day detention and his body has been handed over to his family. In addition two from Khan Shikhun and ten from Daraa were also killed.
As a result of lack of food and medicine, due to the siege imposed by the regime forces; three from al-Yarmouk camp (Damascus) and a child from Douma (Rural Damascus) were killed.
Activists also confirmed the killing of a journalist from al-Qasir (Homs) as a result of wounds sustained during his coverage of the clashes in Yabrood (Rural Damascus) and a defected sergeant from al-Zarah (Homs) killed in clashes in the village of Qameeri.
As a result of the bombing of explosive barrels, six men, two women and a child from Aleppo were killed, as well as a man from Idlib died who from wounds after a fall of explosive barrels near the Infantry School in Aleppo. Additionally a man and a woman from Daraa Al-Balad were killed and two men in their fifties from Ba’ideen (Aleppo) killed near Imad Mughniyeh School.
