The death toll on Sunday 16/02/2014 reached 87 deaths. Among the dead were seven women and nine children.
The largest death toll recorded was in the city of Aleppo, where 37 people were killed, seven of them due to bombing on Masakin Hanano and four in Haritan (Rural Aleppo) also died as a result of the bombing by regime forces.
And among the dead a man from Ma’rrat al-No’maan died whilst rescuing the wounded, a child from al-Sheikh Khathr (Aleppo) died in a bombing of a bakery in al-Haydariya, two men from Deir Azzour died as a result of a car bomb explosion and a defected sergeant from al-Zara (Homs) was killed in clashes with regime forces.
As a result of the bombing of explosive barrels, seven were killed from Aleppo, a man and two women from Ma’rrat Masreen (Idlib), as well as a man in his forties who was killed after the targeting of the headquarters of the General Administration services in Aleppo with explosive bombs during his performance of his duties in providing flour to bakeries.
