The death toll on Thursday 13/2/2014 reached 73 deaths, including four children.
Among the dead was a child from al-Mundabah village (Aleppo) that died due to the cold as her family fled the industrial city, two brothers from Nawa (Daraa) died while trying to get out of the city after a mine explosion, and a man from al-Shahil (Daraa) was killed by a detonated car bomb.
Activists also confirmed the killing of two defected soldiers: the first from Zur al-Hisa (Hama) died from aviation bombing on Ma’an, and the second from al-Naema (Daraa) died due to shelling and clashes in the town of al-Naema and its surroundings.
Two from Aleppo died as a result of regime snipers, the first from Saif al-Dawla and the second from Deir Hafir was killed in the vicinity of Kuweiris airport.
