The death toll on Monday 10/2/2014 reached 121 deaths, among them 24 women and 24 children.
Damascus witnessed the murder of twenty-one people, including eight that died in shelling on the city of al-Maliha (Rural Damascus) and three in shelling on al-Zabdani (Rural Damascus). In Daraa 15 died including ten civilians that were killed by shelling on the town of Tasil (Rural Daraa).
In Idlib, eight people died including four from one family that were killed in an aircraft bombing of their home in al-Ma’laqa village (Rural Idlib). Among the dead a man from al-Houla (Homs) died as a result of a mine explosion whilst he was experimenting with it. A man from Idlib died under torture in the Intelligent Services Detention in Damascus and a man from Daraa died due to shelling during his rescue of the wounded in Daraa.
Two died as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed by the regime forces; the first in Yarmouk camp and the second in al-Tadamun neighbourhood (Damascus).
As a result of bombing of explosive barrels by the regime forces, two were killed in Daraya and the third from al-Kalasa (Aleppo) on 8/2/2014.
