The death toll on Saturday 8/2/2014 reached 111 deaths.
Among the dead were eight women, 13 children, five killed by shelling that targeted al-Firdaws district in Aleppo and seven that were killed in Jasim city in Daraa.
In Deir Azzour, six were killed by aircraft bombing on the Siyaad oil well in the eastern suburbs.
Among the dead were three elderly (including a woman) from Yarmouk camp that died as a result of food shortages due to the siege on the camp. Six from Sarwan in Hama were executed when the army stormed the neighbourhood nearby the military security branch. A woman and her child from Ma’rrat al-No’maan were killed in an explosion in the western district on 6/2/2014 and were found under the rubble. Two men from Homs were killed by the mortar shelling on aid cars and the Red Crescent, a defected soldier from al-Thamir in Rural Damascus was killed in clashes, and as a result of bombing explosive barrels; 32 people were killed (including a judge in Shariah), a child and a midwife from Aleppo, as well as a man and a child from Jasim in Daraa.
