Sixty-five civilians were killed in Syria on Wednesday 4/12/201, among them five women and six children.
The largest number killed was recorded in the city of Aleppo, in which 24 were killed, among them 19 (including three women and two children) that died in shelling on al-Furqan district in Aleppo.
In Damascus and its suburbs 19 were killed, among them ten that fell in shelling on al-Nabak in rural Damascus.
And among those killed was a man in his twenties from al-Furqan in Aleppo that died when a shell from an unknown source fell on the district, a man in his fifties from Aleppo died due to a neurological disease he sustained when he was tortured during his period of imprisonment, a child from Hafeer al-Fawqa in rural Damascus that died due to Jaundice as a result of the contamination of vegetables in the city. A woman from the Yarmouk Camp died due to lack of medicine, and two were killed by sniper fire: the first a child from Saqba in rural Damascus that was killed by sniper fire in al-Wafideen camp, and the second from Tareeq al-Sad in Daraa was killed by a regime sniper in Daraa al-Mahata.
SHRC also documented the killing of a member of the Military and Revolutionary Council in Khan al-Asal in Aleppo by a bullet from an unknown source following his abduction, as well as a member of the press from Douma in rural Damascus that was killed by regime shelling. The Syrian national Judo Champion, who was from Damascus, was also killed in clashes in the Eastern Ghouta, as well as a Tunisian that died in clashes with the regime at the al-Kandi Hospital in Aleppo.
Six were killed under torture: the first a Christian from Yabroud in rural Damascus, the second a man in his fifties from Moadamiya al-Qalamoon and four from Latakkia.
