Fifty-six civilians were killed in Syria on Thursday 5/12/2013, among them three women and two children.
The largest number killed were from Damascus and its suburbs, in which 23 were killed, including three from al-Nabak (two of which were killed in shelling), in addition to six that were killed in an ambush by regime forces in al-Zabadani , rural Damascus.
Thirteen were killed in Idlib, among them seven from Sarmeen in rural Idlib that were killed in clashes with the regime forces and four (two from Ghana and the rest from Jisr al-Shughoor) that died under torture in the Airforce branch in Hama.
In Aleppo, 12 were killed, among them five that perished in clashes when al-Kandi Hospital was raided in Aleppo.
And among those killed were six from al-Zabadani (rural Damascus) that died in an ambush by regime forces, two children from al-Quseir in Homs that died due to the extreme cold in the Irsaal Camp, a defected Captain from al-Dameer (rural Damascus) that died in clashes in Aleppo, and two Palestinians from the Yarmouk Camp that died due to shelling on the Camp.
Four were killed by regime sniper fire, and six were killed under torture in regime prisons.
