One hundred and fourty-four civilians were killed in Syria on Friday 6/12/2013, among them 25 women and 47 children.
Close to half of those killed were from Damascus and its suburbs, in which 71 were killed, among them 41 from al-Nabak that died in a fire in one of the districts as they were hiding in a basement, in addition to seven that died due to shelling and four in al-‘Abaada (rural Damascus) that fell in clashes, as well as three children from Madaya that were killed during shelling.
Twenty-eight were killed in Aleppo, the majority of whom were killed in a massacre in Baza’a (rural Aleppo) in which 21 perished (including seven women and 12 children) due to shelling with explosive barrels.
In Daraa, 13 were killed, among them three that died during the shelling of regime forces on the city of Inkhil.
Ten were killed in Hama, half of them (including a woman and two children) died as a result of shelling on Kafr Hud (rural Hama), in addition to two children from al-Hamra that died in shelling from warplanes on the village. Three also died due to shelling on al-Latamina.
In Latakkia, activists confirmed that eight were killed, six of whom were executed in regime prisons.
And in Homs, eight were killed, among them three that were killed by sniper fire.
And among those killed were 41 (including a man in his seventies, seven men, ten women and 23 children) from al-Nabak in rural Damascus that were burned to death by regime forces in a basement, as well as a child from Idlib that died due to a car explosion which occurred as worshippers left a nearby mosque. Five from Latakkia were executed in regime prisons, four from the Yarmouk Camp were killed by bullets from the Syrian army as they were protesting against the blockade imposed by the regime on the area, and a man from al-Moadamaiyah in rural Damascus died due to lack of nutrition in the city. Three Christians: the first from Yabroud, and two from al-Nabak were killed in al-Nabak due to shelling of regime forces, and a child from al-Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa was executed after the southern district was raided yesterday.
