One hundred and thirty-four civilians were killed in Syria on Saturday 7/12/2013, among them 21 women and 39 children.
The largest number of killings took place in Damascus and its suburbs, in which 61 were killed, among them 43 that perished in a massacre committed by the regime in al-Nabak, rural Damascus; in addition to five civilians that died in shelling on al-Hajar al-Aswad district in Damascus, and three from Daraya that died in clashes with the regime.
In Aleppo, 29 were killed, among them six (including a woman and four children) that died due to shelling on the village of al-Wadihi, and four (a woman and three children) that died due to shelling on Arran, and three (a woman and two children) from al-Safeerah that died in shelling on Ar-Raqqah, in addition to nine that died in Aleppo Central Prison: six of whom died due to extreme cold and three that died due to Tuberculosis.
In Ar-Raqqah, 16 were killed, among them 12 that were killed in the shelling on the city of Ar-Raqqah.
And in Daraa, ten were killed, among them eight from Inkhil.
Among those killed today were 43 (including eight women and 19 children) from al-Nabak, rural Damascus, that were slaughtered at the hands of regime forces which dismembered the bodies both before and after execution, and then burnt them. A civilian from Arbeen, rural Damascus was killed in Jarmana (rural Damascus) at the hands of regime forces after they had imprisoned him in the Air Intelligence Branch, a man in his sixties from Haryataan (rural Aleppo) was killed by a stray bullet from an unknown source, and a man in his forties from Daarat ‘Aaza (rural Aleppo) was found killed at the entrance to the city. Another civilian from Aleppo was found killed at Jabal ‘Andaan by two bullets that hit him in the face and chest, three from Aleppo were killed due to their exposure to extreme cold in Aleppo Central Prison, as well as three other prisoners that died of Tuberculosis and lack of medicine. Five from Samleen in Daraa were killed when the car of a displaced person was targeted on Inkhil Road in Daraa, a father and his son from Inkhil were killed as they attempted to rush an injured person to hospital, seven (including two in their sixties, a father his son and three women) from Maheen in Homs were executed by regime forces, a paramedic of the Red Crescent from al-Nabak was killed by a bullet from regime forces, and two from al-Nabak were also killed by regime snipers.
Two died under torture: the first a Palestinian from the Yarmouk Camp, and the second a man in his twenties from al-Haara in Daraa.
