One-hundred and one civilians in Syria were killed on Friday 29/11/2013, among them eight women and twelve children.
Most were killed in Damascus and its suburbs, in which 41 were killed, among them 22 that died in a campaign launched by the Syrian security on the city of Deir Atiah, in addition to two that were killed in clashes in the village of al-‘Abaadah, and two that died in shelling on the city of al-Nabak.
Fifteen were killed in Aleppo, among them two children from the village of al-His in al-Safeerah, that were killed yesterday during the shelling of mortar rockets on the village.
Ten were killed in Homs, among them four from the village of Maheen that were summarily executed.
Three were killed under torture: the first from Rukn al-Deen in Damascus that died under torture in regime prisons after his imprisonment for a year, the second from Ma’arba in Daraa, and the third a man in his thirties from Jasim in Daraa who lived in Nahr Aisha, Damascus.
SHRC also documented the death of a paramedic from al-Quseir in Homs who was killed by a regime sniper bullet, a defected soldier from Daa’il that died in clashes at Hajiz al-Kafr in rural Hama, a paramedic from Rasm al-Dab’ in Hama that died due to shelling on the village yesterday, and two from Libya and Tunisia that died when the Syrian army targeted a gathering in the area of Mu’taram.
