One hundred and twenty-six civilians were killed in Syria on Saturday 30/11/2013, among them 19 women and 14 children.
Close to half those killed were from Aleppo in which 61 were killed, among them 26 (including 9 women and one child) that were killed in shelling with explosive barrels on the city of al-Bab in rural Aleppo, in addition to five members of the same family (including 3 children) that died due to shelling on the village of al-Hadir in rural Aleppo, and three (among them a civilian in his seventies and a child) from Qadi Askar that died during shelling of explosive barrels on the district on 28-11-2013. This is in addition to a man in his forties and a child from al-Qataniya that died during shelling of explosive barrels on al-Balaat al-Tahtani in the district.
Thirty-two were killed in Damascus, among them six from rural Damascus, five from al-Nabak (three that died when their car was targeted, and two in shelling), and three that died due to shelling on al-Nashabiah.
In Idlib, 12 were killed, among them three that died due to shelling on the village of Kharbat Martain.
And in Homs, eight were killed, among them four from an-Nazaariah that died as a result of the shelling on Deir Atiah in rural Damascus on 26/11/2013.
And among those killed, three from al-Safeerah (rural Aleppo) were slaughtered- in addition to two women- by knives at the hands of regime forces after they occupied the village. Their corpses were then thrown headless onto the public road. Another civilian from al-Sfeerah was summarily executed after his wife and daughters were abducted, three from al-Nabak (rural Damascus) perished when the car they were travelling in was targeted with a bomb, a civilian from Hafeer al-Fawqa (rural Damascus) was executed on 27-11-2013 by regime forces, and a civilian from Sarha in Hama was killed in an ambush on the Athriat- Khanasir Route.
Three were killed by regime sniper fire: the first from Bustan al-Basha in Aleppo died due to injuries he sustained from a sniper bullet, the second was a child from al-Hamdaniah in Aleppo that was killed by a sniper bullet at the Itfa’iah roundabout, and the third was a woman from al-Wa’ar in Homs that was killed by sniper fire in al-Wa’ar al-Qadeem.
Three were killed under torture: the first from al-Rahiba in rural Damascus, the second a child from Ghabaghib in Daraa and the third from Nimr in Daraa.
Activists also confirmed the murder of a doctor from the Eastern Buwaida in Homs, who was summarily executed in Deir Atiah in rural Damascus, as well as the killing of a defected soldier from Abu al-Kusoor in Hama after he was arrested by Shabiha close to al-Safsafiah, and a Tunisian who was killed in clashes close to the villages of Nabl and al-Zahra in Aleppo.
