Seventy-four civilians were killed on Saturday 16/11/2013, among them ten women and eight children.
The largest number killed were from the city of Aleppo in which 23 were killed, among them two from al-Mashad, two from al-Ansari and two from Karm al-Maysar that were killed in shelling, and two that were killed by sniper fire.
In Hama, 19 were killed, among them fourteen from the village of Kawkab that were slaughtered with knives at the hands of regime forces that raided the village.
Sixteen were killed in Damascus and its suburbs, among them nine that were killed due to shelling on Qaara in rural Damascus.
And in Idlib, seven were killed, among them three that died when their car was targeted in an airstrike on the road connecting Saraqib and Ma’arat al-Numan.
Two were killed by sniper fire: the first from Aleppo was killed by sniper fire in al-Qasr al-Baladi as he left his school, and the second was from Aqyool, Aleppo. His body was found in a rotting state after he was killed by sniper fire.
Two were killed under torture: the first a veterinarian student from al-Bayaad in Hama, and the second from Dumar in Damascus.
