Sixty-five civilians were killed in Syria on Wednesday 19/11/2013, among them four women and six children.
More than a third of those killed were from the city of Aleppo in which 26 were killed, among them six from al-Maysar district that were killed due to shelling, two in al-Mansouriya that died when a factory housing displaced families was targeted, and two children from al-Ma’aadi that died in an airstrike on the al-Sana’iya al-Ula district.
Eleven were killed in Homs, among them three civilians that died due to shelling on al-Waleed Hospital.
In Daraa, ten were killed, among them three in the Tareeq Sad district and three from al-Sheikh Miskeen that died due to shelling.
And among those who were killed was the Director of the Media office for “The Free People of Syria Movement”. He was from Andaan, rural Aleppo, and was killed as he covered the clashes in the al-Jawiah Front. A man in his thirties from Kafar Ta’aal (Aleppo) was killed when his car was targeted by a warplane on his way to Tareeq al-Bab, two from al-Mansouriya in Aleppo were killed due to shelling on a medicine factory, and two engineering students from Aleppo were also killed: the first from Manbaj died in clashes with the regime army in al-Duwairiniyah, and the second from Tata died in clashes with the regime army in the Brigade 80 frontier on 11-11-2013. A civilian from Tal Rif’at (Aleppo) was also killed in an ambush, a civilian from Karm Shamsham (Homs) died under torture, a man from Al-Quneitra and who was residing in the Daraa Camp was killed by a regime sniper in Daraa al-Mahata, and a Palestinian from the Yarmouk Camp was killed by regime shelling.
