Ninety-seven civilians were killed in Syria on 26/10/2013, among them three women and seven children.
The largest number killed was recorded in Damascus and its suburbs, which witnessed a massacre in the village of al-Utaiba due to an ambush by the Syrian Army in which 28- who had been attempting to escape the Eastern Ghouta for medical treatment-were killed.
In Aleppo, 18 were killed, among them six that died as a result of shelling, and our that died in clashes in al-Sfeerah.
As for Daraa, eight were killed among them four from the town of Nawa.
And in Ar-Raqqah, seven were killed among them four that perished when warplabes targeted the area of al-Corniche in Ar-Raqqah.
And among those who were killed were 28 from al-Utaiba who were killed in an ambush as they were attempting to escape the Eastern Ghouta in order to get medical treatment, as well as three women from Tal’arn in Al-Sfeerah (Aleppo) that died due to shelling which took place on 23-10-2013, and a man from Tafs (Daraa) who died due to a stray bullet after the liberation of the village. A civilian from Ghareeb in Deir Azzour was killed in clashes with PKK militias in al-Ya’rubiah, a child from Baba Amr in Homs died due to an explosion at the Usama Ibn Zaid mosque in Barda (Damascus), a man in his fifties from I’zaz in Aleppo died after a stroke due to his fear of snipers at the Karraj al-Hajz crossing, and a media activist from Homs died due to shelling on al-Nabk.
