Sixty-eight civilians were killed in Syrian o Sunday 6/10/2013, including eight women and eight children.
The largest number of those killed was from Damascus and its suburbs, in which 15 civilians died. Three among them died from clashes in Daraya and three also died from clashes in Douma. This is whereas two were killed in al-Midan and two were killed under torture.
In Homs, 14 civilians were killed including eight that perished as a result of the shelling on Al-Wa’ar as well as three from al-Khalidiya. In addition, three displaced peoples from al-Quseir died as a result of the shelling on Yabroud in Damascus.
In Aleppo, twelve were killed including four from Tal al-Damaan who died due to shelling and four also from al-Sfeera.
In Hama, eleven were killed, among them six who died in clashes in Taiba al-Imam and three that died in shelling on the town of Sawran.
And in Daraa, eight were killed, among them two that died due to shelling on Tafas.
And among those who were killed was a media activist from al-Qaboun (rural Damascus) who was killed in clashes with the Syrian regime, as well as a defected policeman from al-Quseir in Homs who was killed in the same manner. A man from al-Furqan, Aleppo, was summarily executed at the gate in al-Siryan neighbourhood on Thursday 3-10-2013, and another man from Salahidin, Aleppo was killed by sniper fire.
Four were killed under torture: the first from al-Midan (Damascus), the second from Qudsiya (rural Damascus), the third from Deir Ba’alba (Homs) and the fourth from Deir Azzour.
