The number of those killed in Syria on 27/9/2013 reached 130, including four women and nine children.
Over half of those killed were from Damascus and its suburbs in which 70 were killed. Thirty eight of them perished due to a car explosion in Rankous, rural Damascus.
In Aleppo, 27 were killed, among them 13 (including 6 children) who were killed due to regime shelling with explosive barrels on South rural Aleppo. Three were also killed by sniper fire at the Karaaj al-Hajz Crossing in Bustan Al-Qasr.
In Homs, six citizens were killed, among them two who died as a result of a car explosion in Rankous, rural Damascus. And in Hama, five were killed, among them two under torture.
Among those killed, 40 in rural Damascus perished in a car explosion in Rankous, rural Damascus. In Daraa, a citizen was killed due to injuries sustained from clashes, and a woman in her forties from Tadif (Aleppo) also died due to a heart attack she suffered following an air raid on the village. Also in Aleppo, a man from the Qatirji neighbourhood died due to contracting Meningitis whilst in the air force intelligence branch. A law graduate from al-Hadir, Hama, died due to an air raid on the city, and in Homs, a civilian from the Sakhnah neighbourhood died after his car was targeted by rockets from regime forces. In addition, a citizen from Shams in Homs was killed by regime fire after he was kidnapped and a citizen from Bansh, Idlib was killed in clashes in Ra’as al-Ayn, Al-Hasaka.
Three citizens from Aleppo were killed by sniper fire at the Karraj al-Hajz crossing in Bustan Al-Qasr.
And two died under torture: the first from al-Taminah in Hama, and the second from Bab al-Jisr in Hama.
