The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the killing of 216 people in January 2019. Among the victims were 49 children, 23 women and 9 people who died under torture.
The Syrian Regime forces were responsible for the death of (45) people, while the Global Coalition was responsible for the killing of (26) people, the Russian air force was responsible for the killing of (4) persons, the Kurdish SDF Units responsible for the killing of (23) persons, and ISIS was responsible for the death of (7) persons.
The opposition factions, in particular Tahrir ash-Sham (HTS), killed 12 people, and the Turkish gendarmerie, Lebanese security and Israeli soldiers killed (1) person each.
The total number of victims killed by IEDs was (23), the number of people killed by mines was (13), (11) persons were killed by unknown parties and (13) died of lack of medical care and severe cold in the northern Syrian camps, and the camps of al-Mabrouka and al-Hawl in al-Hasakah and al-Rukban Camp on the Syrian-Jordanian borders.
The province of Deir ez-Zor came first in terms of the number of victims, which amounted to (100) people, followed by the province of Aleppo with (52) people, and the province of Idlib with (28) people, and then the province of Hama (11) people.
The total number of victims in Daraa province was (6) persons, (5) in ar-Raqqa and Hassakeh provinces, (3) in Homs province, (2) in Damascus and Quneitra province, (1) in each of the Rif Dimashq and Latakia.
